Avonet Technologies (Pvt.) Ltd., a new entrant to the local software industry, recently announced its launch and presence in Sri Lanka and Australia simultaneously.
Equipped with a combination of best-in-class software solutions and diverse team of working partners, Avonet helps organizations leverage on technology as an asset rather than simply an answer to a problem.

The company’s humble beginnings saw three seasoned software specialists Sachith Fernandopulle, Chandana Ariyawansha, and Manjula Illangasekara, and veteran sales professional Thilina Kumarapathirana join forces to offer customised implementations of licensed software products to organisations. Avonet has since evolved to offer complex software solutions and services to client, setting the stage for increased efficiency and bottom-lines.

Commenting on the company’s breakthrough moment, Thilina Kumarapathirana, Director / Chief Operating Officer, said: “We conceptualized Avonet’s direction as a company following a simple observation. It is our belief that organisations continue to see technology as an answer to problems and not as a real asset that can help them improve their game. We hope to change such short-sightedness and help organisations capitalise on the full potential of
world-class solutions.”

Avonet operates with four key strategic business units, namely: LeadScore- A cutting-edge CRM product ideal for, but not limited to the financial sector, ClientsKey–A comprehensive resource planning and strategizing suite for the service sector, Offshore software development solutions – a range of services encompassing project management, consulting and BPO operations and QA Outsourcing – providing integral support services such as and testing quality assurance services for organizations

Avonet is currently in the process of implementing LeadScore and ClientsKey for a number of key clients in Sri Lanka and Australia. Numbers of clients in Australia are already enjoying the benefits of the company’s offshore software development solutions and have reported positive results in process management and increased turnover. Avonet’s testing and quality assurance services include manual and automated software testing using the most advanced technologies and skills.
Sachith Fernandopulle, Director / Chief Technology Officer commented, “Our tailored solutions, ClientsKey and LeadScore set themselves apart from other products based on the level of customisation and ease of use we offer.” He further added, “We facilitate cloud-based and/or system-based implementations that allow users to track and analyse a wide range of information and make accurate decisions as and when needed”.
