Astron Limited, Sri Lanka’s largest local privately-owned pharmaceutical manufacturer, reaffirmed the excellence of its sales force by claiming eight awards at the recently concluded National Sales Congress 2016 (NASCO).
Amila Wijeratne and Tyronne Kern won the Gold and Silver awards, respectively in the Territory Manager category, while Dhanushka Sompala and Dilina Premadasa won the Silver and Bronze awards in the Sales Executives category.
In the Frontliners category, Amila Withanaarachchi, Madushanka Prabath and Buddika Kodithuwakku were awarded Gold, Silver and Bronze awards, respectively.
The biggest achievement of the night was Amila Wijeratne winning the Silver award for the best territory manager across all industries.
Commenting on the unprecedented success of the sales force, Director Marketing Johann De Zilwa said, “It’s great to see our sales personnel excelling and being recognized frequently at a national level.
We have clinched the Gold in the Territory Manager and Frontliner categories for three consecutive years. We have claimed eight awards in total this year as well and these awards are clear sentiment of the sheer commitment and the outstanding performance of our sales team in the healthcare industry and beyond when Amila Wijeratne stole the Silver award for the best territory manager across all product and service industries.
Astron holds a reputation for its ethical marketing and sales practices and I believe these awards reiterate the excellence of our sales and marketing team.
