Weapons recovered from mosque at Slave Island

A suspect was arrested while 40 swords, Kris knives and several uniforms similar to those worn by the Army and a jacket (without explosives) were recovered from a Mosque at Palliyaweediya in Slave Island yesterday, Police said.   


They were found under the bed of the Mosque’s Chief Cleric.

    Time to raid all the mosques. Then continue with random checking on a regular basis.

    ANY MOSQUE WITH EXPLOSIVES, KNIVES, BOMBS AND DANGEROUS WEAPONS MUST BE COMPLETELY DESTROYED BY THE ARMY AND THE ARMED FORCES AS THERE EXISTENCE IS WITH THE CONNIVANCE WITH THE SUICIDE BOMBERS HENCE SUCH MOSQUES MUST BE DESTROYED WITHOUT DELAY.
