Information had been received about two persons affected with the coronavirus, along with further information on another five suspected cases in the Moneragala district.
This was revealed at a press briefing held yesterday at the office of the Divisional Medical Health Officer, by the Director P. D .K. Adhikari.
The affected persons are residents from Buttala and Siyambalanduwa. Information was also received about suspected infections from Badalkumbura, Devathura, Kataragama and Medagama. Investigations are continuing to identify the places visited by these persons and those who had closely associated with them.
