Travel restrictions have been enforced until further notice in Tithawalyaya area in the Kurunegala District yesterday due to the discovery of 29 positive cases, the authorities said.

The National Operations Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO) yesterday said that 267 persons of 67 families had been asked to self-quarantine following the recovery of positive cases. They said that there is a gradual increase of COVID-19 patients in the Kurunegala District at present.
