Darshana Isurusiri Sampath of Pinnawala National School ranked island’s first in the Maths stream (Old Syllabus) at the GCE A/L - 2019 examination while Tharusha Shihan Fonseka of Ananda College ranked island’s first in the Maths stream (New Syllabus).
Nipuna Viraj Hettiarachchige of Bandaranayaka College, Gampaha topped island’s first in the Arts stream (Old syllabus), Theshani Weligamage of Devi Balika Vidyalaya, Colombo, came first in the Arts stream (New Syllabus).
Among the other top performers were Vinura Osada Gallage of Bandaranayaka College, Gampaha who was first in the island in Engineering Technology stream (New Syllabus), Niroshan Sandaruwan Jasingha of Christ Church Boys’ College Baddegama, became island’s First in the Commerce stream (Old Syllabus), Sachini Wijewardana of Vishaka Vidyalaya, Colombo is the island’s first in the Bio stream (New Syllabus).
