A team of 21 teledrama artistes who lodged in a hotel in Teldeniya to shoot a teledrama and the staff of the hotel, were quarantined in the hotel, when a popular teledrama actor among them was tested Covid positive.
Health authorities in the area said the teledrama actor who had arrived in Kandy and lodged in the hotel with other artistes, had returned to Colombo on November 21 and tested positive with Covid-19.
PHIs said the team of artistes and the hotel staff were quarantined under the supervision of the Police, pending PCR tests.
