The custodian of an organisation in Kalpitiya was arrested by the police yesterday for allegedly maintaining links with Easter Sunday attacks mastermind Zahran Hashim.

The Police Spokesman said the custodian of the organisation had allowed Hashim and two sons of Mohammad Ibrahim to conduct lectures at the Organisation premises. The suspect has allowed the suicide bombers to lecture to promote extremist ideologies.   The training centre has been operated under the guise of a non-governmental organisation in which the suspect has served as a custodian. Police said the suspect is a resident of 4th Cross Street, Kalpitiya and the CID is conducting further investigations into the matter.
