Prepared by three party seniors
By Anjula Maheeka Weeraratna
The strategic plan prepared by the Democratic National Front (DNF), to be set up under the leadership of the United National Party (UNP) for winning the presidential election, is expected to be handed over to Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe, Deputy Leader Sajith Premadasa and Speaker Karu Jayasuriya at the weekend.
This strategy is based on the discussions held between him and Minister Sajith Premadasa on Tuesday. The preparation of the winning strategy was assigned to Ministers Rajitha Senaratne, Kabir Hashim, Ranjith Madduma Bandara and prime-ministerial adviser Dinesh Weerakkody .

The people are guided by the leadership qualites of the contestants as it should be. Ranil is a honest and capable democratic leader who is thoroughly dependable and acceptable to foreign investors. We certainly need foreign investors to survive

Problem is he promises to bring foreign investors, but was not able to get them down on multiple occasions. Examples are: Volkswagen factory, to administer Mattala airport, manage Sri Lankan airlines etc. He’s only a big talker. Cannot deliver. On top of that he’s too old now and protects corrupt people.
