Schools in the Western Province (WP) will open on Monday for Grade 5, GCE O/L and A/L students, Director General of Health Services Dr. Asela Gunawardena said.
The Education Ministry yesterday appealed to the Health Services Director General to convey his recommendations within two days in order to re-open schools in the Western Province on Monday, March 15. However, the Director General has advised the Education Ministry to re-open schools following health guidelines.
