SLFP should side with SJB: Wijayamuni

Former MP Gamini Wijith Wijayamuni de Soysa said yesterday the SLFP should join Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) led by UNP deputy leader Sajith Premadasa. “We told the SLFP that it will be sidelined by the SLPP. We know the Rajapaksas. We are from Wellassa which is adjoining Giruwapathuwa. There is no need for the SLFP to be with the SLPP. We are happy to contest with SJB,” he told journalists following the opening ceremony of SJB headquarters.
