Three fundamental rights applications filed against the award of LNG power plant tender to a Chinese consortium was taken up for consideration by the Supreme Court yesterday.
The counsel who appeared on behalf of the Attorney General submitted an affidavit, which gives a statement by the Cabinet secretary.
The Cabinet subcommittee, appointed by President Maithripala Sirisena, is still studying the tender transaction.
The Cabinet decision is to be notified to court on March 11.
