Former Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe and several former ministers including Champika Ranawaka, Mangala Samaraweera and Rauff Hakeem have been summoned to appear before the PCoI over political victimisation on August 21.
Former Ministers Sarath Fonseka and Malik Samarawickrema were among other ministers who were summoned.
Former MPs R. Sampanthan, M.A. Sumanthiran, Jayampathi Wickramaratne and JVP leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake have also been summoned before the Commission.
They have been summoned with regard to a complaint made by former Economic Development Ministry Secretary Dr. Nihal Jayatilaka in relation to Divineguma funds.
