- Patients inform President about issues in hospitals out of Colombo

President Gotabaya Rajapaksa made a sudden observation visit to the National Hospital in Colombo yesterday, discussed issues with the staff and inquired into the well-being of the patients.
The President’s Media Division said President Rajapaksa visited the Out Patient’s Department (OPD) building complex of the National Hospital. While engaging in cordial discussions with the patients, the President has inquired about the activities at the OPD.
He has asked the patients about their villages from where they came and inquired about the reasons for travelling such long distances.
The patients have informed the President regarding the prevailing issues at the hospitals located out of Colombo.
