President not present in parliament during Budget

President Maithripala Sirisena was not present in Parliament yesterday when the Budget was presented by the Minister of Finance.
The President was present in Parliament at every presentation of the Budget since this government took over office.
Despite his absence opposition leader Mahinda Rajapaksa and several UPFA members were present yesterday in Parliament.
