Former Customs Director-General P.S.M. Charles was yesterday appointed as the Northern Province Governor by President Gotabaya Rajapaksa. Ms. Charles was earlier appointed as Secretary to the Health Ministry by the President. She had also served as the former District Secretary to Batticaloa.
