New Governors appointed

- The swearing-in ceremony will be held at the President’S official residence
New Governors appointed for three Provinces took their oaths before President Maithripala Sirisena yesterday.
Accordingly, Maithree Gunaratne sworn in as the Governor of the Uva Province, Keerthi Tennakoon, Governor of the Central Province and Hemal Gunasekara as Governor of the Southern Province.
Gunaratne and Tennakoon served earlier as the governors of the Central and Southern Provinces respectively.
The swearing-in ceremony will be held at the official residence of President Sirisena.
