Man impersonating as President’s Counsel arrested

A 38-year-old person, who had impersonated as a President’s Counsel (PC) and a member of the Western Provincial Council, has been arrested by the Borella Police.    

Police Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana said he had cheated many people and collected money promising them jobs and  houses from Government and non-government institutions.   


DIG Rohana said a seal with bogus designations has been taken into police custody while in his possession.    He is to be produced in the Colombo Magistrate’s Court today.
