Life imprisonment for Madush according to Dubai Law

In accordance with the current laws in Dubai, the underworld leader Makandure Madush would be imposed a life sentence, the senior officials of the Police STF said.  

The official said further that in addition to consuming drugs there are several other offences Madush has been convicted of and the Dubai Public Prosecutor would announce on or before 28th of this month the applicable judgement in this regard.  

It is said further that the Dubai Police in Bur Dubai had already inquired from the heads of the Sri Lanka STF with regard to the allegation made against Madush and the Court actions taken, and accordingly a detailed report was submitted to the Dubai Police by the Sri Lankan authorities.  

Meanwhile, when inquiries were made about popular singer Amal Perera and his son singer Nadeemal Perera, who were taken into custody while they were participating at the party hosted by Madush, the senior STF officer said that the Dubai Public Prosecutor would take a decision within the coming week. It had been revealed at investigations earlier that the duo had also consumed drugs.
