Labour Minister Nimal Siripala de Silva yesterday requested private sector employees who lost their jobs during the Covid pandemic, to send their details to the Labour Department before April 1.
Addressing a meeting at the Department, Minister de Silva requested such individuals to submit their name, address, telephone number, address of previous employer, date of termination, duration of employment and remuneration.
He said the letters with relevant details should be addressed to the Labour Commissioner, Labour Relations Division, 11th floor, Mehevara Piyasa, Colombo 05 or to contact the Department 0112-368-502 for more details.
