A teacher serving in a government school in Mannar who had in his possession a stock of Kerala Ganja was arrested by the Mannar Police.
A police party on information received from the Mannar 54 Brigade Intellegence Unit, carried out the raid and arrested the teacher at the school gate.
Police said the suspect had 500grams of Kerala Ganja in small packets in his bag and that he would be questioned to find out about the others involved in the racket. A senior police officer said the teacher could have been supplying Kerala Ganja to the students. Mannar Police are conducting further investigations.
