As the world marked Children’s Day and Elders’ Day yesterday, an elderly mother is being given a hand to climb the steps leading to the Kelaniya Raja Maha Viharaya where a large number of devotees gathered to take part in religious observances to coincide with Vap Full Moon Poya Day.
