G.C.E. (O/L,A/L), Grade 5 Scholarship Online applications for exams soon

Taking further steps into digitalisation, the Examination Department had decided to call applications for the G.C.E. O/L, A/L and the Grade Five Scholarship examination online-based system soon. 

The Commissioner General of Examination Sanath B. Pujitha said all students who are applying for Grade 5 scholarships under the new system will be given a unique student number and that number would be connected with the examination department database.   

The unique student number will be connected with the students’ database along with the activities such as examination results and extra curriculum activities which can easily filter up, he said. The attention had been drawn to grant permission to provide non-programmable calculators for the Advanced Level subjects such as Accounting, Bio-Systems Technology, Engineering Technology and Technology and Science.
