Four suspects have been arrested by the Eravur Police in connection with sharing LTTE commemoration posts on social media, Police Spokesman said.
DIG Ajith Rohana said the courts have issued restraining orders prohibiting LTTE commemorations.
“However, these posts have created disharmony among communities and religions. Accordingly, the suspects who are residents of Eravur have been arrested,” he said.
He said legal action would be taken against the suspects.
