Cop on mo-bike dies after crashing against bull

A police officer riding a motorcycle received serious injuries and died on admission to hospital when the motorcycle bumped against a bull that ran across the road at Paranthan Junction on the Jaffna - Kandy A9 highway yesterday. 

Preliminary investigations revealed that the victim, an officer attached to the Kilinochchi Police identified as Mary Jackson Antony (31) was on his way from Paranthan to the police station when he met with the accident.
