A group of Criminal Investigation Department (CID) and Special Task Force (STF) personnel inspected former minister Rajitha Senaratne’s residence at Colombo 7 yesterday to arrest him. A notice had been issued to arrest the former minister over the controversial ‘white van’ news conference.
However, a lawyer appearing for MP Senaratne said the MP was not at his home when the officials of the CID and STF arrived.
