A stock of 25 gunny bags of Hashish which is a kind of a narcotic, was seized by wildlife conservators in Kataragama during a raid in Yala Zone 3, in the early hours of last morning.

Southern Province Assistant Director of Wildlife Upul Indrajith said the suspects had fled from the scene during the raid and evaded arrest. He said the absconding suspects would be arrested soon.
