Fourteen days of quarantine is mandatory for students, teachers, academic and non-academic staff in the education sector arriving from Coronavirus (COVID-19) affected countries such as China, Korea and Italy, the Education Ministry said yesterday.
It said it had conveyed this directive to all heads of schools and educational institutions countrywide and that this decision was taken on a request made by the Ministry of Health and Indigenous Medicine.
