Ceylinco Life produces record 41 MDRT qualifiers in 2015

Life insurance leader Ceylinco Life has set a new record in sales achievement, with 41 of the company’s sales team qualifying for membership of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) in 2015.
This is the highest number of MDRT qualifiers produced by Ceylinco Life in a single year.
Of the 41 qualifiers, R.S. Panagoda has received the prestigious Court of the Table (COT) membership, the company said.
The 2015 meeting of the MDRT will be held in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA, from June 14 to 17 and will be attended by more than 8,500 elite life insurance and financial professionals from over 50 countries around the world.
“This is a significant milestone for Ceylinco Life and the members of our sales force,” the company’s Managing Director and CEO R. Renganathan said.
“We have always emphasised the importance of professional development of our sales staff and our success is evident in the number of MDRT qualifiers we produce each year.”
The MDRT is the world’s premier association of financial professionals. It is an international, independent association of more than 42,000 members or less than 1 percent of the world’s most successful life insurance and financial services professionals from 470 companies in 71 countries. MDRT membership is recognized internationally as the standard of sales excellence in the life insurance and financial service business.
Sri Lanka’s first MDRT qualifier was produced by Ceylinco Life in 1993. The company was also the first to produce a MDRT ‘Life Member’ by achieving the stipulated sales targets for 10 straight years and the first local insurer to produce an MDRT Top-of-Table Member. Ceylinco Life also produced the first South Asian non-member of MDRT invited to address the forum.
