The 19th winner of 28 gold coins on offer by the ‘People’s Bank Foreign Remittance Gold Fortune 2016’ promotion was announced recently.
P.A. Sarath Dharmasiri Bandara from the Narammala branch was the most recent recipient of a ‘Gold Fortune’.
Present to conduct the draw was Anoma Liyanarachchi - Assistant General Manager (Credit Control), People’s Bank and Aruni Liyanagunawardane – Chief Manager (OCS), People’s Bank.
The draw was launched with the aim of promoting the use of People’s InstantRemit, People’s e-Remittance, Swift and Telex amongst those living and working abroad when sending money to their loved ones in
Sri Lanka.
The promotion encourages people to receive remittances of any amount to be eligible to receive a gold sovereign coin on a weekly basis for a period of 28 weeks up to
December 2016.
