Nolimit, the largest fashion retail chain in Sri Lanka, was in the spotlight once more with the multiple recognition as the winners of ‘Best Use of Social Media in Marketing’ coupled with a certificate of merit in ‘Customer Loyalty Program Award’ for ‘Arapaima’ loyalty program of Nolimit, Glitz & Pallu retail chains at the prestigious Asian Retail Congress – 2015 held in India, recently.
Nolimit, in achieving the ‘Best Use of Social Media in Marketing’ award, surpassed all its major competitors from over 40 member countries including Japan, China, India, Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia India and the like by excelling the evaluating parameters including effectiveness, recognition, acceptance, fan engagement, past achievements, future plans and unique differentiating elements vis-à-vis competition.
Commenting on the initiatives taken by Nolimit, Glitz & Pallu towards prudent management of its social media platform and the Arapaima loyalty program for business success – Raneez Sheriff, Marketing Manager – Nolimit said: “Keeping customers informed and involved at all times is vital for business success in any market. We proactively use all our social media platforms and ‘Arapaima’ loyalty program to connect with our valued customers to build long-term relationships with them. This initiative has given great benefits to us as well as to our customers in many ways. We are humbled to be honoured by the prestigious Asia Retail Congress as it gives us an authentication to our standing in the global retail sphere.”
Asian Retail Congress was established 11 years ago with a view to promoting world-class retail practices in Asia by discussing and influencing the issues for change, and is the single most global platform, at present, that works towards the development of the retail industry. It facilitates retail giants across markets for a common forum annually to discuss and find solutions for issues pertaining to the retail business.
Nolimit, now claims to be the largest fashion retail chain in Sri Lanka, launched ‘Arapaima’ loyalty program in 2002 to honour and reward its loyal customers across all Nolimit, Glitz, Pallu & ‘Y pay more’ outlets. In year 2012, ‘Arapaima’ was first awarded as one of the best loyalty programs in South East Asia by the Asian Retail Congress. This year’s recognition, received for the second time from the same awarding body, is yet another endorsement for ‘Arapaima’ in its contribution to building successful businesses through winning and retaining customer loyalty.
