I live in the West, and I have seen how the “educationalists” have intervened into the affairs of teaching in schools with bizarre theories and have simply wrecked the psychology of school children. Look at the evidence of violent crime, drugs, and psychiatric problems among the school pupils in the West. We don’t need any of these in Sri Lanka, let’s carry on with the traditional school teaching that is natural to our country where we have a family structure , unlike in the West.
