Banned substances are still widely used in sports in Sri Lanka. Dr. Lal Ekanayake of the Sports Medical Unit in the Sports Ministry told Daily Mirror Audio that some of the banned substances are mixed in sports nutrition supplements imported and distributed in Sri Lanka
