Aravinda heads new Technical Advisory Committee for cricket

Former batting great Aravinda de Silva will head a four-member new Technical Advisory Committee for cricket appointed by Sports Minister Namal Rajapaksa.

Among others in the committee are former Sri Lanka cricketers Roshan Mahanama, Muttiah Muralitharan, and Kumar Sangakkara.

The Technical Advisory Committee has been tasked with providing advise on the development of the sport to the Minister and the National Sports Council headed by Mahela Jayawardena
