Lance Corporal Premalal, who was paralyzed below the waist after being caught in a mortar attack in Kilinochchi during the war, married his girlfriend at a ceremony in Gampaha yesterday. Since 2008 when he was injured, he had been undergoing rehabilitation at the Ranaviru Sevana. However, with no information from him she had thought he was killed in action but later she found him with the help of a friend. The wedding was organised by the Sri Lanka Army and the ‘Siyana Api’ Foundation. Pix by Pradeep Pathirana
