Look the leaders and follower..what a sad situation to this political party, that many ways build the Sri Lanka with educated respected people such as JR, Lalith, Gamini and more...today its look like a groupe of jokers lead the UNP..this old alcoholics never can be a alternative to current drug dealers..god bless my country...

Blind Loyalty to its extremes. Mahinda R might be the luckiest man in the world for being so fortunate to have a 20 time failed leader being reelected as his opponent. I dont think anyone should vote for MPs who voted to reelect a failing opposition leader as they only CARE but for them selves. I understand very well why Ranil prefers to remain as the opposition leader as he can enjoy all the benefits received as the opposition leader without any responsibilities. That's probably the best job in the world. But I can't understand why would anyone else want to hang on to a failing leader like this.

What an unfortunate time we live in our land. On one hand a a family enterprise and on the other hand, no one to speak about it.
