Sri Lankans would be very surprised by her humbleness and her mannerism. Thai people are one of the most humble people I have ever met

She, with her beautiful yet decent attire has bought respect to Sri Lanka, Thailand and Buddhism. Elitist women dying to copy western rubbish should follow her lead.

Very correct. However, at the time of typing this reply there is one negative vote even for this, which I am surprised and can't fathom. This shows the thinking of some of our people. With such type of thinking how on earth could we expect to elect politicians of high calibre? So, we continue to experience atrocious acts such as rape, murder, drug-trafficking, etc from so called peoples' representatives and complain for the next 06 years. And the never ending cycle repeats!!!

She may have a bit more money than her Sri Lankan Buddhist sisters to be able to afford tailored white outfits. Your comment might better be addressed to Buddhist gentlemen.

Yes Sri Lankan ladies. Go and buy white Thai silk dresses, bracelets, earrings and rings before you visit the temple...

Hats off to Thai people for electing a modest and educated person for the post of Prime Minister.
