Teachers and Principals marched towards the Education Ministry in Colombo today protesting against the failure of the government to resolve their longstanding grievances. A tense situation prevailed once the protestors reached the Education Ministry as the Police prevented them from walking into the Ministry premises. Pix by Pradeep Pathirana
