mahe Friday, 03 June 2011 12:23 PM
Those are innocent Police officers. Real criminal is out there. This is the pathetic story of Sri Lanka. Police best option is don't obey orders from political super stars. Otherwise you will end up in jail.

When the Nazis attacked Jews, others initially thought that for Jews and kept quiet. Finally Nazis did not spare anyone around other than the collaborators.

Tilan Friday, 03 June 2011 11:12 AM
No this is not good. They are taking the blame on behalf of someone else. They don't have power to give an order to shoot specially in the presence of a DIG. Either the DIG gave the order or someone above instructed him to do so. I wonder why the government is so silent about who gave the order. Are they protecting someone from the VERY TOP?
