A Sri Lankan resident in Italy, Uddima Oshadi De Silva, who took part in the 2013 Italian beauty queen context and selected for the final round was crowned as the film star beauty queen in Venice, Italy by Italian film star beauty queen Adriana Felusco.
A leading Italian film producer Massimo Baldy offered her the main role in his latest production. Born in Ratgama in the Galle district, Ms. De Silva settled down in Italy 14 years ago.
She said she was hopeful that her ambitious carrier as a film star would be a success. At present she is featured in advertisements of several Italian motor car manufactures. (Chaminda Madawala)
Look at her competitors. Not many live in Venice.Anyway good luck to her. I hope she does not get carried away.

Why are there so many negative comments. We S/L's should all be happy & proud that one of our girls have won this competition. This is typical of Sinhala people, always jealous and envious of other peoples success. Congratulations and good luck to Uddima.

She is stunninly vivacious. But she should be careful with Sylvia Belesconi, the former PM and avoid those bunga bunga parites he invites for the beuties of Italy. We are proud of the countrymen putting the mark in the international stage whatever the their feild is.

No sooner a woman is ready to shed her clothes.. they are in the headlines in the west. It's NOT just natural beauty anymore. It's Silicone and plastic and even more plastic. How sad to note that they use women to sell anything... Capitalism it is called...
