Sammy Tuesday, 07 August 2012 04:40 AM
Why not protest against President Assad to stop killing his own people and end dictatorship. If the lady holding that particular placard understood the meaning, she would probably not be carrying it.
Minister Tuesday, 07 August 2012 03:38 AM
Do some of them at least aware of the meaning of the writings on the boards they are holding in their hands?
asoka Monday, 06 August 2012 07:57 PM
What a bunch of idiots ! Seems like they are protesting against the police? They should face the embassy if they are protesting against the embassy. They have their backs to the embassy and showing the placards to the police?
Sujeeva Devarani Monday, 06 August 2012 06:39 PM
Must be organised by Wimal Sahodaraya
Siripala Monday, 06 August 2012 02:24 PM
Exiled Syrian National Council (SNC) says city of Aleppo is facing carnage with the Assad regime deploying its full military might, including Air Force, against civilians and lightly armed Free Syrian Army.
NATO is not bombing Syria.
IT is clear the Movement has no knowledge of the real facts.
john Monday, 06 August 2012 02:19 PM
Every citizen has the right to protest peacefully but to see women holding placards with the F word written on them is wrong , im sure they can't read english and they are not to blame but the organisers should be ashamed .
Ronny Monday, 06 August 2012 01:21 PM
This is a High Security Zone area only for Opposition protests! Here the protestors are given even police protection and Government support as well.
ishak Monday, 06 August 2012 01:27 PM
America got a lesson from Egypt.I think they may think twice before helping.I dont think they will involve in this situation.
Pala Monday, 06 August 2012 01:19 PM
What a Joke
Jayantha Monday, 06 August 2012 12:35 PM
I thought I was well behind time when I read the news item.
When did NATO bomb Syriya?
This clearly shows the mental capacity of these protesters.
Did they obtain permission to protest? The Govt. should order the Police to dismantle the Protest as it is NOT their democratic Right to Faulsely accuse a country or To demonstrate for a wrong Cause or display ignorance to the US.
This shows that any idiot can hold a protest rally 'At The Drop Of a Hat', Only in Sri Lanka. This is a disgrace to Sri Lanka.
Americans will be laughing at Our expense.
Govt.! Do something!! Arrest the idiots to say SORRY to U.S.

WHAT NONSENSE , INTERNAL STRUGGLE , HOW DOES THE REBEL GET ALL LATEST EQUIPMENTS, LIKE TANKS , GUNS , IT IS SAME AS LTTE HAD , DO ANYBODY THINK WITHOUT SUPPORT OF OTHERS , USA OPENLY SIGNED THE DOC STATING THE REBELS , THAT MEANS USA IS ALSO A TERRORIST COUNTRY , WHEN WE FOUGHT LTTE , USA OPPOSED US AND SUPPORTED LTTE , USA SUPPORTED YEMEN TO KILL REBELS , USA SUPPORTED LIBYA , EGYPT , TUNISIA , WHO CAN ASK QUESTION
lalith Monday, 06 August 2012 10:32 AM

sxhabeeb Monday, 06 August 2012 11:45 AM
Another Group of Modawansas in the making.... ?
Namal Rajapakse Monday, 06 August 2012 11:43 AM
Are these people mad or nature of them. The people who lead these ptotest might not even know what is NATO is and what they are doning now. Stupid, first sort out problems in Sri Lanka, we have enough things to do in Sri Lanka before we try to protect Killers in Syria. We love Syria because Both governments are similar.
Rj Monday, 06 August 2012 11:42 AM
Most of these people really don't know what is happening in Syria.. It appears that they are presenting idiocy something totally irrelevant to us. (And there is no such thing as F*ucking for virginity)

The woman holding the play card (2nd photo) can't read it in English or she is doing it for money.
Sisira_kk Monday, 06 August 2012 10:44 AM
Yeah, I doubt even the organizers have any idea about it, They seems think of Siriya as a another Libiya,
C'mon guys NATO has NOT bombed Syria yet, What's happening there is still an internal struggle,
Ruvin Monday, 06 August 2012 10:35 AM
