Calling for government action

The National Intellectual Council (NIC) held a press conference urging the government to take legal action against companies and individuals who were involved in importing pesticides which contained banned arsenic which was seized by the Customs. JHU Parliamentarian Ven. Athuraliye Rathana Thera and Korean Environmentalist Tae Yong expressed their views at the press briefing which was held this evening. Pix By Nisal Baduge
