Police Chief N.L Illangakone launched the first mobile Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) system today. The system is installed inside a van and it will monitor traffic and other incidents taking place within Colombo. Pix by Waruna Wanniarachchi
Please arrange over speed tracking system by CCTV as many other countries do and that will eliminate on the spot bribery to Traffic policemen

Are they operating with only one van or many vans in Colombo city? What is the benefit of this they can monitor only outside the road how about inside? I don’t believe this system is gonna work it out coz they are the people who failed to protect our museum.
