A memorial museum had been inaugurated by president Mahinda Rajapakse in Aranthalawa, Ampara in remembrance of the Aranthalawa massacre of 1987. The bus in which the Buddhist monks travelled has been preserved and the massacre is portrayed through sculptures by sculptor Anil Amarapura. The LTTE killed 31 Bikkhus including Ven. Hegoda Indrasara Thera on June 2, 1987. Pix by Wasantha Chandrapala

Didn't u feel the way you treat to KARUNA today at that time. You could defeat the war through Hon. Ranil Wickramasinghe's peace agreement. Otherwise it wont be a easy task. Why u are not fair to share the credit with all these.
