The heavy rains in the area had uprooted the Bo tree at the Lahugala Kiriwehera Temple premises. It fell on the ancient Dagoba but the Buddha statue inside was miraculously saved. Pix by Upul Wijesinghe

    Come on guys, please do not get offended.
    But Statues are made by human hands. How come the same thing is been worshiped and call this situation a miracle just because the tree missed it??
    Is it the ego inside hearts which does not allow to think further... A bit more logical thinking would help us understand reality.. isnt it??

    same things were happened when tsunami destroyed everything but it couldn't harm to any Buddha statues in this country. IT IS A MIRACLE.
