Nearly 672 ex LTTE cadres were taken to visit several important sites in Colombo by the Rehabilitation and Prison Reforms Ministry. Some of the former combatants saw enjoying themselves at the Galle Face Beach. Pix by Kushan Pathiraja
The LTTE would not have treated our captured soldiers with such benevolence . Their policy was take no prisoners. These guys are lucky to be alive as they were captured by the S/L'n forces and have lived to tell the tale. Whereas our valiant soldiers who were captured by the LTTE are no longer among the living. .

I believe so. But this is a positive sight. Under the LTTE they would be in Colombo with a suicide vest. Now there is some hope. Hope they are released soon in to the general population.
