These clergy ought to be wary of their vulnerability to spiritual blindness, more than the physical one. When they go blind spiritually the whole society follows the blind, not realizing the resultant moral depravity and decadence. The only tragic dimension to their 'blindness' is that there are no Miltons among them to write 'On Their Blindness'!
