The Government Medical Officers Association today held a press conference on the attack against the Registrar of the Sri Lanka Medical Council. Professionals in any field (Doctors, accountants, lawyers etc.) worldover are criticised for failing in their jobs. However, such criticisims should be challenged with due diligence and patience. Such independent ability makes a professional strong and acceptable in the society. Therefore, just by making an allegation to the GMOA does not jeorpadise the GMOA or its profession but if only it fails to counter agrue. So reply the politicains and the others who criticise with authority as you have been doing for many decades now.
