How many names are mentioned on that plaque? This is hillarious as if these cost of buildings are built from their own money not from the taxpayera money.

Nice photograph of highrise building and they wanted us to call it HOSPITAL. Hospital is a place where sick people get treated but at these highrise building they do not have even penadol. Doctor prescribe and we need to run down to Union Place to buy that because even Osu Sala doesn't have stock. People who are accountable for building these highrise (I am not talking about the war end of 2009) must consider turning these building to accommodate tourists (if we have tourists inflow)

Very Impressive. I hope we could do the same about the supply of drugs & other medications for the patients.

People always grumble in Sri Lanka. They should be happy that there is free socialized medical services for the citizens. Even a rich country like the US, does not have free medical services for its citizens, one must carry expensive medical insurance or be an indigent person to get treatment at any hospital. Its for profit only in the USA. Obama tried to change the status quo, to have a single payer national insurance scheme as in the UK & France etc., but the Insurance companies spent millions and defeated it.
