Buddhists, this year, have been restricted to celebrate Vesak staying at homes giving priority to Prathipaththi Pooja due to COVID-19 pandemic. People are not allowed to go out to celebrate Vesak due to social distancing and other health guidelines. Therefore, people are seen decorating their houses with lanterns and other decorations as usual and limit the celebration to homes. Pix by Pradeep Pathirana and Nimalsiri Edirisinghe
